Our training program, held over three days near Houston, TX, is taught directly by the company’s founder. The training is a hands-on program where you will learn every aspect of running your new business–from getting new clients to managing your employees and preparing for taxes. Included in the training is a certification course in Pet CPR/First Aid, an accounting 101 class, and a field training session where you will learn techniques on handling all types of dogs.
There are a lot specifics in starting and running a business, and our training course and materials are designed to walk you through every step. We will teach you about how to set up your business the right way. And for those who aren’t familiar with business accounting, we include with our training program an Accounting 101 course which will give you the specific information you need to keep your books in order.
Your Own Website
You will be given your own website, where you will be able to post pictures of your clients’ pets, a personalized bio, your service offerings, a coverage area map, and more. We will update and host the site for you–so anytime you change your prices, your services, or your pictures, just let us know and we’ll make the changes!
As a new franchisee, we will assist you with your grand opening advertising and on-going local marketing campaigns. We will work with you to select the best forms of advertising for your particular market.
Drug Screens & Background Checks
Clients have chosen our service because we take the time to carefully screen our every pet sitter and dog walker that works with us. We have accounts set up so you can easily preform the required pre-qualifications for anyone you hire. In addition, we provide you with resources to easily find and hire the right people to work for you.
Forums, Conference Calls, and Conferences
One of the benefits of being part of our franchise family is our continual communication and support. We never want you to feel unconnected, which is why we set up conference calls, forums, and yearly franchisee conferences where we can share and learn from one another.
Scheduling & Invoicing Software
Our franchise owners are given access to a specially-designed scheduling and billing system. Clients are able to view their upcoming visits, request service, view invoices, and pay their bill all online. Employees can view their scheduled visits and read through notes about each client. And franchisees are able to manage client data, revenues, scheduled appointments, and generate detailed reports. Included is secure franchisee access to templates, client agreement forms, legal paperwork, and ready-to-use advertising materials.
Insurance & Bonding
In addition to assisting you with all of the legal framework of forming your business, we will help get you set up with extensive insurance and bonding protection.
Your initial inventory of supplies includes business cards, rack cards, direct mail post cards, dog walking and field supplies and a host of resources to order other advertising and marketing supplies.
