New Tom & Chee Franchise Now Open in Louisville
Tom and Chee, a quick-service restaurant that offers variations on grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, will open late this month in the Highlands.
The restaurant will open at 1704 Bardstown Road in the former site of Penn Station East Coast Subs, which closed earlier this year, said Rich Tinsley, who is opening Tom and Chee with his wife, Natalie Tinsley.
Tom and Chee is a Cincinnati-based company that owns two restaurants in Cincinnati, and the Tinsleys’ location will be the company’s first franchise.
Tom and Chee showcases the world’s most creative selections of grilled cheese, including the Grippo’s BBQ+Bacon and the Grilled Cheese Donut, as well as homemade soups and fresh salads.
All of their soups are homemade, they roast their turkey, chicken and beef as well as make their own salad dressings. With a menu that fits in well for a quick work day lunch, a day out with the family or a late night with your friends, people around the city and country are asking for more Tom+Chee.
